Lt. Gen. R. Steven Whitcomb, Third Army/U.S. Army Central commanding general, briefs Gen. George W. Casey Jr., Army chief of staff, during a visit to the unit's headquarters, May 15. Casey was briefed on the logistical and operational support that Third Army/USARCENT provides in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Casey praised Third Army for the support he was given during his two and a half year tenure as the MNF-I commander. "I never had a worry about anything coming out of Third Army," said Casey.
