Lt. Col. Leonard D. Rusher (right), commander of 1st Battalion, 182nd Field Artillery, Michigan Army National Guard, rolls up the unit colors during a transfer of authority ceremony Aug. 13. The 1-182nd transfers authority to the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, Minnesota Army National Guard. The 1-182nd will redeploy after completing a successful year with Third Army. The 1-182nd worked with Third Army in providing theater security and sustaining operations throughout the areas of responsibility.
