On June 1, 2018, Eighth Army hosted the 243rd Army Birthday Ball at the SINTEX Convention Center in Suwon, South Korea. Servicemembers and their guests came from all over the Korea peninsula to participate in this annual military ball. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Commander UNC/CFC/USFK, and Lt. Gen. Michael A. Bills, Commander Eighth Army, presented awards to the 2018 Best Warrior Competition winners and other Soldiers who have distinguished themselves among their peers. The Eighth Army Band provided fun live musical entertain while everyone dined amongst co-workers, friends and family. The evening festivities ended with laughter, music and dancing.
