Soldiers from Alpha Company, 2-3 Inf., 3-2 SBCT, run to their next Stryker armored fighting vehicle during a firefight at the National Training Center Aug. 13. They were on patrol in support of village stability when insurgents opened up with gunfire. Soldiers are learning new methods to work within local villages to prevent anti-Afghan forces from creating a foothold inside of them.
