Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) lower a rigid-hull inflatable boat into the water during a practice mission with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit Maritime Raid Force. New Orleans and embarked Marines are conducting pre-deployment work-ups as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group.
