First Lt. Muhannad Saadi Tayeh, an officer with the 17th Iraqi Army Division commando battalion, engages targets over 400 meters distant during the culminating exercise of an advanced scout/sniper course, created by soldiers with 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division–Center, Aug. 4 at Qa’qaa range, near Baghdad. Shooting in a 15 mph crosswind and fatigued from a 290 meter low crawl, Saadi was still able to hit on 17 of 30 shots and extract himself from the area flawlessly. (Photo by: Staff Sgt.
