    U.S. Army Sgt. Bless Sherrill, center, and Sgt. Raheem Rowell, both with the New Jersey Army National Guard, carry a flag and an urn containing the cremains of a veteran during the 27th New Jersey Mission of Honor (NJMOH) ceremony at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery at North Hanover Township, N.J., May 24, 2018. The cremains of seven World War II veterans – James M. Bey, Walter R. Cheeks, Herbert L. Felder, Leroy J. Jefferson, John G. Leake, Wesley Ross, and Charles R. Upshaw Sr.; one Korean veteran, Booker Tullis Sr., one Vietnam veteran Samuel F. Dorsey Jr., and one Cold War era veteran Willie E. Slater, were honored during the ceremony. NJMOH’S mission is to identify, retrieve, and intern the cremated remains of veterans forgotten in New Jersey funeral homes.
