Maj. Gen. John F. Campbell, outgoing 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) commander, passes the division colors to Lt. Gen. Howard B. Bromberg, U.S. Forces Command deputy commanding general/chief of staff, during the division change-of-command ceremony at Fort Campbell Aug. 12. The passing of the flag is a tradition throughout the Army to signify outgoing commanders passing the reins to the incoming commander.
