The grave of Coast Guard Signalman First Class Douglas Munro marking his final resting place resides at the Laurel Hill Memorial Park, Cle Elum, Wash., May 14, 2018.

Munro, the Coast Guard’s only Medal of Honor recipient, was presented the medal posthumously by President Franklin D. Roosevelt at a Whitehouse ceremony held in 1943.
