Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, prepare for a live fire exercise outside Kandahar Airfield on the Tarnac Firing Range. NMCB-1 is deployed to Kandahar as part of Task Force Overlord and is responsible for all construction engineering and engineering support in south and southwest Afghanistan.
