Retiring the colors.
CONTINGENCY OPERATING SITE WARRIOR, Iraq – Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Holland, left, and Command Sgt. Maj. William May, right, command team of “Thunderhorse,” 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, 1st Infantry Division, case their battalion colors during a Transfer of Authority Ceremony at Contingency Operating Site Warrior, Iraq, Aug. 6, 2011. The casing of their colors culminated the training of the expanded Combined Security Force whom Holland said can competently assume the mission his battalion transferred to them.
