Pfc. David Bellen, a SAW gunner from Blackhorse Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, applies Velcro strips to a Stryker armored fighting vehicle in preparation for the installation of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System. More than 300 Strykers were transported from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., to NTC for the approximately month long training exercise in the California desert.
