The workshop educates approximately 50 collegiate coaches from across the nation about essential Marine Corps leadership skills and programs that they can share with their student athletes based on first-hand experiences. Celentano is a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), one of two Division I National Collegiate Athletic Association Historically Black Colleges and Universities leagues. The Marine Corps partners with MEAC to educate and inspire coaches via Marine Corps leadership styles and characteristics, creating brand advocates among the organization’s key influencers. Celentano is the assistant volleyball coach at North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina.
