Army Spc. Mark Lopez, a medic assigned to Task Force Phoenix; Missouri National Guard, places colored tape on the hard hat of a worker employed through the Disaster Recovery Jobs Program in Joplin. The medics use different colors of tape to designate individuals with various pre-existing medical conditions, which enables them to treat the workers more effectively, should health concerns arise. Task Force Phoenix medics are with Task Force Phoenix in support of DRJP.
