Chief Warrant Officer 3 Gary Tamietti, a pilot assigned to 339th Military Intelligence Company, Task Force ODIN, conducts pre-flight checks on his C12 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance aircraft at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, July 26. Tamietti, a Vietnam veteran who returned to service in 2003, flew his final mission with Task Force ODIN in support of Operation New Dawn, July 31, before retiring.
