Rexrode, center, a military police officer with Law Enforcement (LE) detachment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and Cpl. Cameron R. Siete, a military police officer with LE detachment, 26th MEU, demonstrate non-lethal control techniques to Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment (BLT 2/6), 26th MEU, during a non-lethal training course aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), May 7, 2018. The training was a part of the Escalation of Force – Non-Lethal Effects training curriculum, a course designed to teach individuals to control and de-escalate a situation while minimizing risk of significant injury and collateral damage.
