Maj. Arthur Hector and Sgt. Leon Perkins, Recruiting & Retention Battalion, Virgin Islands Army National Guard, read motivational messages from the Caribbean Center for Boys and Girls at the St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group Youth Opportunity Fair at the St. Croix Educational Complex, May 5.
Various local agencies and businesses set up displays for the fair to educate St. Croix families and youth about opportunities for advancement. Rec. & Ret. Bn. spoke at length with attendees and distributed bags, pencils, pens and brochures about serving in the Army as an active duty soldier or reservist.
