Alex Rojas, assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, uses chalk to circle areas of contamination while testing a tactical decontamination concept at Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWA) 18, Hohenfels, Germany. Identifying specific areas of contamination allows for decontamination of areas needed instead of the entire vehicle, which falls under JWAs evaluation of concepts and capabilities in a realistic and rigorous training environment to build a ready, agile and adaptive future force.
