Drill instructors with Receiving Company, Support Battalion, search through bins during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 30. Prior to the search, the recruits were informed of all of the items they weren’t allowed to have in order to begin training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to graduate July 27.
