Members of the South Kanto Defense Bureau view common weapons of an artillery battalion on May 1, 2018, on the Combined Arms Training Complex, Camp Fuji, Japan. Artillery Relocation Training Program 18-1 is a Japan-funded, routine training exercise that allows the Okinawa-based Marines with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division to conduct live-fire training in Japan. Observers from the local SKDB's visit allowed them to gain a better understanding of the battalion's training with respect to the ATRP agreement between the U.S. Government and the Government of Japan.
