Rear Adm. John E. Jolliffe, vice commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, accepts a presentation from Cathy Clegg, General Motors Vice President of Labor Relations, at the UAW-GM Human Resources Center. Jolliffe and sailors from Navy Operational Support Center Detroit, the aircraft carrier USS George Washington and the guided-missile submarine USS Michigan toured of the UAW-GM Human Resources Center as part of Detroit Navy Week 2011, one of 21 Navy Weeks this year across the country. Navy Weeks are intended to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
