Sgt. Christopher Piette and Staff Sgt. Joshua Firth, explosive ordinance disposal technicians with EOD Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, set up a 155mm Howitzer round for detonation during post-blast analysis training April 25, 2018 at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Marines with EOD Company, 9th ESB and Air Force EOD technicians with EOD Unit, 18th Civil Engineers conducted the training to instruct junior technicians on safe disposal of ordnance and examination of ordinance blast craters to determine potential locations for hostile enemy positions.
