JORDAN (April 19, 2018) U.S. Marine Capt. Jeffery Wuebolt, executive officer, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment (BLT 2/6), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fires an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) gun at simulated enemy targets during a machine gun marksmanship range as part of Eager Lion 18 in Jordan, April 19, 2018. Eager Lion is a capstone training engagement that provides U.S. forces and the Jordan Armed Forces an opportunity to rehearse operating in a coalition environment, to pursue new ways to collectively address threats to regional security and improve overall maritime security.
