JORDAN (April 20, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Ian McGauvran, a platoon commander assigned to Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, supervises his platoon during rehearsals for a live-fire training in Jordan as part of Eager Lion 2018. Eager Lion is a capstone training engagement that provides U.S. forces and the Jordan Armed Forces an opportunity to rehearse operating in a coalition environment and to pursue new ways to collectively address threats to regional security and improve overall maritime security.
