Alston Isaac, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with the 324th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 335th Signal Command (Theater) catches his breath following a 10-mile ruck march during the command Best Warrior Competition, Fort Meade, Maryland, April 19, 2018. During the week-long competition, Soldiers are tested physically and mentally in events that include the Army Physical Fitness Test, land navigation, combat water survival, U.S. Marine Corps obstacle course, ruck marching, weapon qualification, Army Warrior Tasks, reflexive fire, written exams and the Army appearance board.
