Specialist Benjamin Retz (left) from the 389th Engineer Battalion, 416th Theater Engineer Command (TEC) and Spc. John Mundey, 463rd Engineer Battalion, 412th TEC participate in a 12-mile road march during the 2018 Major Command-level Best Warrior Competition at Devens Reserve Forces Training Area, Massachusetts on April 19, 2018. The road march was one of the culminating events for the competition; Soldier stepped off before sunrise and finished the route within three hours. Retz and Mundey were among 18 competitors from the 76th Operational Response Command, 412th and 416th TECs as well as the 99th Readiness Division to compete for the title of Best Warrior for their respective commands and possibly advance to the U.S. Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition.
