180402-N-FV739-1164 USNS SACAGAWEA (April 2, 2018) - A 3D-printed ratchet sits on the board of a Lulzbot Taz 6 3D printer aboard USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2) in support of an additive manufacturing test phase. Personnel from Naval Surface Warfare Center joined forces with Marines from Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18 to test the sea-worthiness, interoperability and innovative potential of the 3D printing assets aboard Sacagawea.
