Miriam Plotkin, a San Diegan and participant at the 2011 San Diego Stand Down, thanks Marine Wing Support Squadron 373 Marines for their help at the event July 15. MWSS-373 supplied the logistical support to house more than 1,000 homeless San Diego veterans, as well as dining, medical and administrative facilities for the three-day event.
