GULF OF AQABA, JORDAN (April 15, 2018) U.S. Marine Capt. Joshua Hoppe, an MV-22B Osprey pilot assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conducts a guided ship tour for the Royal Jordanian Navy’s 77th Naval Infantry Battalion aboard the Wasp-class amphibious ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), April 15, 2018. The Marines and Sailors of the 26th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of the maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of the commerce in the region.
