SALEM, Mass. – Soldiers, senior leaders and distinguished guests of the Massachusetts National Guard participate in the 382nd annual First Muster on Salem Common April 14, 2018.
During the muster Brig. Gen. Francis M. McGinn, Land Component Commander, Massachusetts National Guard, assumed command of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
The muster honors the heritage of the National Guard by commemorating the first time soldiers of the colonial militia held drills together, in 1637.
