Children from a local school in Meteti, Panama, perform a dance for guests at the opening ceremony for Exercise New Horizons 2018, April 11, 2018. Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Security, the government of Panama, the mayor of Meteti, and the commander of the 346th Air Expeditionary Group who the exercise falls under, Col. Darren Ewing, took part in the ceremony which was attended by about 150 community members. The joint-service exercise will provide deployment readiness training to U.S. military members, while also benefiting local communities throughout the country.
