    20th CBRNE Command

    Charles Maddox, from the 20th’s CBRNE Analytical and Remediation Activity, explains equipment his unit uses to Gen. Bob Kehler, commander, U.S. Strategic Command; Brig. Gen. Les Smith, commander, 20th Support Command; and Kenneth Myers III, director, Defense Threat Reduction Agency. CARA’s mission is to support combatant commanders and other government agencies, conduct stockpile and non-stockpile operations, remediation, provide analytical laboratory support, technical escort of surety and non-surety material, and counter CBRNE and WMD threats.
