Members of the Air Force's elite entertainment group "Tops in Blue" performed for deployed service members at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, July 16. Members of the Air Force audition each year to be a member of the team and those who are chosen travel around the U.S. and various other countries performing throughout the year. After completing their year-long tour with Tops in Blue, the airmen return to their units, but may audition again after another year has past. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Mark Lindquist, a network intelligence analysis craftsman with 324th Intelligence Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, said, "When we return to our units, we are better airmen. Being a member of Tops in Blue develops a good work ethic, we learn interpersonal skills. It does the Air Force well." Lindquist is a native of Ortonville, Minn.
