Mike Dokie, Optics Lab journeyman, demonstrates the detailed and very specific calibrations done on the M777 Howitzer optics equipment on an adjustable table mounted testing unit in their Optics Lab at Production Plant Barstow, Marine Depot Maintenance Command on the Yermo Annex aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., March 28. Once the optical equipment is mounted, the team ensures that the calibrations allow for precision maneuvaring, tracking and firing of ammunition.
