A Coast Guard Cutter Anacapa (WPB 1335) small-boat crew rescued a 43-year-old man after he was stranded on the Barrier Islands, 7 miles south of Port Protection, Alaska, April 8, 2018. The Anacapa crew launched the cutter’s small boat to transfer the man and his dinghy to Port Protection where he had arranged further transportation. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
