U.S. Army soldiers in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) are performing a concrete pouring operation at what appears to be a military installation during winter conditions. Multiple personnel wearing hard hats in white and blue are actively spreading and leveling freshly poured concrete using shovels and screeds. Snow is visible on the ground in the background, and military-style buildings are present in the rear.

U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 859th Engineer Company from the Mississippi Army National Guard pour more concrete over the rebar, which reinforces the concrete, which will become the concrete foundation under the gazebo. These Soldiers spent their annual training at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center’s Hohenfels Training Area, Hohenfels, Germany, building several construction projects March 11 – 31. For many of the younger Soldiers this is the first time working with concrete since their initial military occupational skill training. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. David Overson)
