U.S. Navy Steelworker 3rd Class Brian Brookes, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4, shares welding techniques with Timor Leste Assistant Inspector Manuel Moreira in Dili, Timor Leste on March 2, 2018. Underwater Construction Team 2 is leading an effort with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Timor-Leste National Police’s Maritime Police Unit to construct a steel pile pier to increase small boat berthing in support of maritime security operations. UCT 2 specializes in the construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
