Soldiers from The United States Army Field Band work with professionals from the opera field to create the scenes of the opera.
An idea more than three years in the making will see its world debut this April 2018 thanks to the teamwork of The U.S. Army Field Band, a composer, a librettist and five opera companies. On April 6 2018, Texas Christian University will host “The Falling and The Rising,” a new American opera about Army veterans.
