BLACK SEA (March 14, 2018) Lt. j.g. Safouane Lachgar, assigned to the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) rides in a rigid-hull inflatable boat during a visit, board, search and seizure exercise with the Romanian navy frigate Regele Ferdinand (F-221), March 14, 2018, during exercise Spring Storm 2018. Spring Storm is a Romanian-led exercise in the Black Sea to enhance amphibious operations and staff interoperability between Romanian and U.S. naval forces.
