The image shows the USNS Mercy (T-AH-19), a United States Naval Hospital Ship, underway at sea. The large white vessel is clearly marked with multiple red cross symbols on its hull and superstructure, identifying it as a protected medical vessel under the Geneva Conventions. The ship appears to be sailing in calm, open ocean waters under a partly cloudy sky.
