U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jeff Herrmann, a pilot from the 182nd Airlift Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, talks with students from Liceum Ogólnoksztłcące im. Adama Mickiewiczat, a nearby high school, at Powidz Air Base, Poland, March 16, 2018. The students toured the aircrew flight equipment section and a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft. They also chatted with service members during a pizza lunch. Approximately 70 Airmen and three C-130s from the 182nd Airlift Wing are participating in bilateral training with the Polish Air Force during Aviation Rotation 18-2 in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. These events occur across the U.S. European Command area of responsibility and are designed to enhance partner interoperability, maintain joint readiness, and assure our regional allies.
