MOUNT ERIE, Wash. (Mar. 16, 2018) — Air Crewman (Operator) 2nd Class Benjamin Fouche, attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, reenlists on top of Mount Erie, Wash. VP-47 is a maritime patrol squadron currently station at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The Golden Swordsmen recently completed transition from the legacy P-3C Orion to the P-8A Poseidon, the Navy's premiere long-range anti-submarine warfare platform.
