Spc. Kevin Woodward, of Monroe, Mich., attaches the barrel to an M-2 .50 caliber machine gun in preparation for a convoy escort mission into Iraq June 1, 2011. Woodward, a motor transport operator with Fort Bliss' 377th Transport Company, has been deployed to Kuwait for the past 10 months. The 377th's mission is to help facilitate the responsible drawdown and withdraw of U.S. forces in Iraq as part of Operation New Dawn.
