180311-N-ET513-175 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 11, 2018) The Greek Elli- class frigate SS Elli (F450) accompanies the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58) during Dynamic Manta 2018. Dynamic Manta is a annual Multilateral Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) exercise meant to develop interoperability and proficiency in anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare. Laboon, home-ported at Naval Station Norfolk, is in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners and U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
