A close up photo shows the awards on the U.S. Army dress uniform of Oregon Army National Guard Sgt. Maj. Vinnie Jacques, Senior Enlisted Advisor to Joint Domestic Operations Commander. Jacques was wounded in combat in 2004 while serving with 3rd Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment, which received the Presidential Unit Citation for their heroic efforts during some of the heaviest fighting of the Iraq War in the Sunni Triangle.
