Crane Army Ammunition Activity employees dismantle Rockeye Cluster Bomb Units. Each Rockeye contains hundreds of bomblets, and operators remove all nonexplosive material by hand for separate, more environmentally-friendly disposal before the explosive payload is demilitarized. Crane Army Ammunition Activity provides conventional munitions support for U.S. Army and Joint Force readiness, including production, demilitarization, transportation and storage.
