Airmen from the 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron walk onto a launch facility, Feb. 2, 2018, in the F.E. Warren Air Force Base missile complex. The 90th MMXS missile maintenance team earned the 2017 professional team of the year award for their constant professionalism in and out of the work place. Missile maintenance teams perform periodic maintenance to maintain the on-alert status for launch facilities, ensuring the success of the nuclear deterrence mission.
