Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Scott and his parter Staff Sgt. Jason Diaz from the Army's 4th Ranger Training Battalion pull a simulated casuality as part of the first day of the 2007 Lt. Gen. David E. Grange Best Ranger Competition. Scott, a native of Lawton, Okla., and Diaz from Chicago, Ill., are amoung 39 Ranger teams competing in the three-day competition that will take them over 60 miles by foot carrying an 85 lb. backpack.
