Members of Hotel Company, 554th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood support the Army’s 236th birthday run with gusto. At the conclusion of the Army’s birthday run, held June 14, 2011, the U.S. Army Engineer School passed the guidon to the 1st Engineer Brigade to complete a total combined run of 236 miles—one mile for each year of the Army Engineer Regiment’s birthday. The engineer’s birthday run was completed in two-person teams by supporting units, and concluded with a 3.1-mile regimental run, June 16. (Army photo/Michael Curtis)
