Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Olson, assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 4, Det. Guam, describes the capabilities of Mark 38 MOD 2 25mm weapon systems to a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force sailor aboard a Mark VI patrol boat during a tour at Naval Base Guam, March 5, 2018. CRS-4, Det. Guam, assigned to Costal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam, is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
